Financial Systems Business Analyst
The Business Applications team manages the enterprise tech stack that supports the full lifecycle of our customer’s journey and is consistently looking to streamline business operations through process re-engineering, innovation, and automation. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will play an integral role in transforming our enterprise tech stack to support the next phase of growth Arrive Logistics. In this role, you will work closely with finance/accounting stakeholders, your business system team, and outside vendors to execute strategic business systems projects of all sizes. This role requires a solid understanding of Netsuite and related financial systems experience, an analytical mindset, and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Essential Functions:
- Be extremely tech-savvy, as a power user or previous experience administering enterprise financial systems, writing reports, and creating queries.
- Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, document complex business needs into clear actionable systems requirements, and evaluate alternative solutions if necessary
- Support the Netsuite administrator and main POC with Netsuite Support, helping the accounting team troubleshoot any Netsuite related bugs/issues
- Identify enhancement opportunities for existing tools and processes, including new features offered in each Netsuite major release
- Create artifacts such as user stories, requirements documentation, business process flows, architecture diagrams, test scripts, etc.
- Maintain and expand subject matter expertise on Netsuite and 3rd party apps by staying up-to-date on new features, trends and related technologies
- Guide and assist project teams with QA, UAT, and system integration testing for existing and new processes
- Work with business systems team and third party consultants to create meaningful, scalable, and high quality solutions based on requirements to meet the needs of the business
- Distinguish user requests from underlying needs to align with macro business systems vision and strategy
- Create documentation on systems, processes and procedures
- Collaborate with the Security, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure business systems adhere to security and compliance standards
Education and/or Experience:
- B.S. Computer Science, MIS or equivalent educational background and experience
- 3+ years experience of capturing project requirements and documenting business processes.
- 1+ years of experience with projects around managing/integrating with NetSuite
- Experience with Concur, Expensify, Adaptive Planning, Okta, Workday, Jira, High Radius or similar software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with natural ability to root cause incidents
- Experience creating implementation lifecycle artifacts such as user stories, requirements, process flows, and test scripts
- Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity, and providing creative solutions
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong understanding of current best practices in Netsuite, particularly for SaaS companies
- Experience working in a start-up or working on global Netsuite projects for hyper-growth companies preferred
- Technical aptitude, with proven experience in reporting, measurement, data analysis, and interpretation
- Ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues
