What we're looking for:

You are a focused, motivated and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst who has at least 2 years of experience.

Position Summary

You will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and improving the processes performed in the systems used by the Finance and Accounting department. You will also work closely with business stakeholders on the teams within Finance and Accounting in all geographies to understand the business challenges and document the business processes and requirements to solve those challenges. This individual will also partner across the organization to drive the process changes and system enhancements for the department. This individual is responsible for scoping, coordinating, and executing testing, planning, and executing launch activities, and providing ongoing support. This individual is also responsible for triage and analysis of production support issues.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Engage with the global business teams and process owners to identify and implement solutions / improvements that achieve efficiencies, enforce compliance, or increase gross margin of Citrix
  • Partner with teams across the organization to initiate, prioritize and drive solutions / fixes that fulfill business needs
  • Utilize past experience and knowledge of sales, service, distribution, and accounting to recommend appropriate business process solutions to new business requirements.
  • Determine potential impact to processes, data, and systems resulting from production support issues.
  • Troubleshoot and identify root cause of production support issues within established SLA parameter.
  • Ability to organize and manage your time and deadlines appropriately.Accurately determine task duration and dependencies for own assignments. Communicate status updates to manager and internal customers on a regular basis
  • Lead coverage, execution, and testing activities during the implementation lifecycle, including UAT scoping, data validation, and execution of testing
  • Independently complete process documentation and update existing documentation as processes change.
  • Lead & provide ongoing support activities, especially for month-end and quarter end close processes


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Working knowledge of relational database, ERP systems, business intelligence, and web technologies, or the desire to learn
  • Intermediate skills in SQL to analyze, validate data problems and develop reports
  • Intermediate knowledge of relevant (in practice) business processes
  • Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot process and system issues
  • Have a process improvement/optimization mindset to support continuous improvement
  • Solid understanding of data quality issues and ability to recommend best practices for ensuring / validating data quality
  • Knowledge / understanding of project management methodologies
  • Ability to develop user acceptance test data, scripts, and plans
  • Experience working directly with functional and technical resources
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a good team player and with the ability to motivate others
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present a professional image
  • Must be responsive and deadline-oriented with a sense of urgency


Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience
