How will this role have an impact?

The Financial Operations Analyst will work with the Client Success, Analytics, and Finance  teams through involvement in QA, Client relationship support of internal and external ad hoc requests, and participation in the creation of client facing materials explaining program results. The focus of the role will be responsibility for key processes around the administration of the BPCIA program, reconciliation and payments. A key responsibility will be to maintain an in-depth understanding of the existing business requirements and financial terms across all partners, both payers and providers.


The Financial Operations Analyst will report to our Director of Financial Operations.

What will you do?

  • Build understanding of contract terms for Episode Initiators and gainsharing arrangements through review of contract documents to identify key economic terms
  • Coordinate and project manage, working alongside cross-functional teams, for the BPCIA program filings process on a regular basis
  • Physician gainsharing program administration, including explanation of payment statement production and QA
  • Quality assurance review of program outputs of reconciliation ledger results
  • Translation of contract terms to working term sheets as input to programs for reconciliations and gainsharing distributions.
  • Preparation for client success team of external communication to health systems and individual providers in the form of statements and accompanying narratives explaining results, and drivers of outcomes within reconciliations.
  • Owner of SOX process controls for QA related workflow steps


We are looking for someone with:

  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex components of financial arrangements to general audiences in an engaging manner.
  • Strong organization approach to report progress and track to multiple deadlines and consistently meet or exceed them.
  • Ability to think critically and be self-directed in obtaining information and knowledge to resolve issues independently.
  • Basic familiarity with analysis tools such as SQL, and Python ideally, advanced level Excel required
  • Desire to learn and continuously improve processes as well as skill sets. Flexibility in taking on new responsibilities.


Any of the following would be considered a plus in this role:

  • Experience in physician compensation models, revenue analysis in a physician or hospital setting.
  • Experience using programming languages (i.e. Python, SQL)
  • Presentation and project management experience.
