Eaton's Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Financial M&A Integrations Senior Manager to join our Global Financial Services & Systems (GFSS) team. This position is based in Beachwood, OH.

Job Summary:

Provides Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) leadership on all integrations and transition service agreement (TSA) leadership on all divestitures. Ensuring that all matters associated with GFSS financial systems including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel and entertainment and payroll systems, as well as internal controls, and financial and statutory reporting are integrated appropriately. Building a positive brand image for GFSS services and systems. Responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate policy and legal requirements; functions as an agent of change to improve integration of systems and procedures. This position sets the strategy for both resourcing, improving, and automating our GFSS integration process using digital tools and the Eaton Business system as applicable. Acts as a liaison with the finance transformation team, internal audit, accounting, treasury, legal and operations on matters involving all GFSS integrations. Provides assistance and advice to operations and regional Business Development teams on acquisition and divestiture activities, in a consultant role. Partners with GFSS Global Process Leaders (GPL's) and process owners to remedy challenged integration processes through root cause analysis and problem management. Provides finance leadership for the GFSS - North America region in integrating continuous improvement, data analytics and the Eaton Business System into our culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) leadership and sponsorship on all acquisition integrations and TSA leadership on all divestitures. Ensuring that all matters associated with GFSS financial systems including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel and entertainment and payroll systems, as well as internal controls, and financial and statutory reporting are integrated appropriately.
  • Sets the strategy for both resourcing, improving, and automating our GFSS integration process using digital tools and the Eaton Business system.
  • Ensures that all implementation deadlines are met, and the control environment is in place at each implemented site.
  • Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to expand the digital capabilities of finance via digital tools to support optimization of integrations.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate policy and legal requirements; functions as an agent of change to improve integration of systems and procedures.
  • Partners with GFSS Global Process Leaders (GPL's) and process owners to remedy challenged integration processes through root cause analysis and problem management.
  • Acts as a liaison with the finance transformation team, internal audit, accounting, treasury, legal and operations on matters involving all GFSS integrations building a positive brand image of GFSS services and systems.
  • Provides assistance and advice to operations and to regional Business Development on acquisition and divestiture activities in a consultant role.
  • Provides finance leadership for the GFSS - North America employees in integrating continuous improvement, data analytics and the Eaton Business System into our culture working closely with the GFSS digital transformation lead.
  • Acts as consultant in the provision of advice and technical assistance to regional operations and subsidiaries on financial systems issues, inter-company recharging of costs, business restructuring, planning/implementation of new business projects, and any other questions/concerns/thoughts that operations might have, in accordance corporate objectives.
  • Builds a positive brand for GFSS in order to attract and develop talent to meet current and future business needs of GFSS while motivating employees to achieve their aspirations.
  • Ensures that ethical standards are maintained in a manner that accrues maximum benefit to Eaton.
  • Identifies and spreads best practices across the finance organization.


Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Systems/IT, Business Administration, or related from an accredited institution is required
  • Minimum 10+ years of financial management experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA from an accredited institution / CPA preferred
  • Change management certification (the people side of change)
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in transaction processing within finance or accounting
  • Experience with SAP; Oracle a plus

  • Ability to relate prior experience and knowledge of controls across company operations
  • Adaptable to varying cultures
