The Headlines :

In the role of Financial Analyst working in Milwaukee you will be part of the Hire to Retire (HTR) team within our broader Shared Services group (GBS.) This person will be responsible coordinating and executing routine (monthly, quarterly, annual) payroll/benefit activities, perform financial analysis and activities in support of key initiatives and projects in the Shared Services environment, coordinate and drives Continuous Improvement projects as they impact payroll and benefits, and provide superior customer service and team support.

This position reports to the Team Lead - Payroll and works closely with the entire Hire to Retire team, other members of our GBS, and members of the broader finance teams.

The Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and execute payroll activities for US, Canadian and LATAM payroll
  • Support, coordinate, and execute all aspects of enterprise reporting, including tax inquiries and benefits reports, and assist payroll/benefits coordinators with maintenance and other duties
  • Participate in Controls work including ensuring adherence to all Finance controls and ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed, per policy, for the various business units and compliance with all SOX and internal/external audit requirements are met
  • Provide financial analysis of payroll and/or benefits data, providing key take-aways and recommendations and partnering with HR on any payroll/benefits changes
  • Provide Support on annual budgeting process and routine forecasting activities
  • Support Continuous Improvement projects as necessary within the payroll group, including system testing and delivery of milestones, and assist in identifying and prioritizing the implementation of these projects
  • Collaborate with appropriate partners (IT, external providers, GBS, HR) to effectively deliver Continuous Improvement activities to meet strategic objectors
  • Review, evaluate, and prioritize tasks/project assignments and communicate key issues to management
  • Other duties as assigned


The Qualifications:

  • You have a relative 4-year degree (or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree) and at least 3 years of accounting/financial analyst experience
  • You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • You have strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook; SAP experience preferred
  • You have a solid understanding of budget/forecast development, account reconciliation analysis, and understanding of accounting principles
  • You can provide effective, confidential customer support in an area with highly sensitive data
  • You have a proven ability to learn new systems
  • You are an excellent communicator at all levels and can maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all team members
  • You have strong analytical ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
