Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments. Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Prepares forecasts and analysis of corporate departments. Responsible for the reconciliation of internal accounts. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management and department leaders.
Job Tasks:
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of internal financial statements
- Perform analysis of projected and actual results
- Assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist with the development of financial and operational reports for management and the FP&A team
- Determine the accuracy of the reported financial information
- Develop and maintain financial reporting tools
- Interact with other AMN departments in order to properly analyze the financial and operational performance

- FP&A team
- Corporate Accounting
- Corporate Departments (i.e. Credentialing, Legal, IT, etc.)
Systems:
- Hyperion
- PeopleSoft
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Power BI (preferred, but not required)
Minimum Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experiences
Preferred Education/Certifications:
- In process towards obtaining Master's degree (in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration), CFA, CFP, CPA or other related certifications
Minimum Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of work experience in financial analysis or related field
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis and business partnering experience
