We are looking for a Financial Analyst to play a key role in the continued development, refinement, and optimization of our business model. You’re excited to take a hands-on approach in enhancing the overall teams’ capabilities and will help us build a best-in-class finance function that influences company-wide strategic decisions.
This role focuses on analysis and reporting of our financial and operating metrics to executive leaders and the board of directors. In addition, this individual will support various aspects of our monthly budget vs actual process, build forecasts and models, and set and track company goals, among other ad-hoc, cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working on either autonomous or collaborative projects, and is disciplined to deliver accurate results, on time. Here's what you'll do:
- Shape our company operating model by supporting the financial planning process as well as reporting and forecasting
- Support our Go-To-Market operations through analysis and strategic planning, such as Pipeline Forecasting, Sales KPI tracking, and Marketing ROI analysis
- Support the build out of our Corporate FP&A arm, such Board reporting and the 409A common stock valuation process
- Support various aspects of the month end budget vs actual process by gathering and summarizing financial information for our key stakeholders
- Track and report on Hotel Engine’s ongoing goal-setting process (OKRs)
- Work with large data sets, solving complex problems in a dynamic environment
- Research, analyze, and summarize industry trends, competitor landscape and public comparables
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to analyze business and performance trends and provide actionable insights to department leads
- Support ad-hoc projects that influence key business decisions and outcomes
- Reports to the Finance Manager
Here's what we're looking for:
- 1 – 3 years of corporate finance, investment banking, public accounting, consulting, or other technical experience at a high-growth startup, well-established company, or financial services firm
- Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel, PPT, and Microsoft Word skills
- Ability to hyper-prioritize in a high-growth, startup environment and communicate when there are conflicting priorities
- Holds themselves accountable and their work products to a high standard
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and driven towards excellence
- A great attitude and open to constructive feedback
- Solid team player - we achieve more as a team!
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning, Looker, Salesforce, or other enterprise-level financial systems and processes is a plus
Cash compensation:
- The base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.

- This role is eligible for remote work within the U.S.
