About the role
As a Financial Analyst, you'll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you'll be responsible develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
About the team
The Corporate FP&A team is responsible for enterprise-level forecasting and executive-level reporting and analysis, driving a consolidated view of FIS' performance for executives and external stakeholders. Analysts on the team will be responsible for seeing the "big picture" and crafting a story of the organization's financial results. In addition to the monthly close and forecast cycle, the team is deeply ingrained in the quarter-end earnings process through close partnership with FIS' Investor Relations. Various ad hoc requests come to this team, allowing analysts an opportunity to see the full breadth of FIS.
What you will be doing
• Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Execution and analysis of financial reporting, comparing key financial metrics by segment and sub-segment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to analyze forecasted and reported financial results.
• Development of monthly dashboards, including KPIs and trend analysis.
• Development of quarterly earnings materials, including Board of Directors presentations.
• Month-end and quarter-end reporting to support SEC filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses, and evaluation of any discrepancies.
• Contextualize FIS operational and financial performance with external trends and macro factors.
• Ad hoc analysis of business trends, financial results, and competitors' performance.
What you will need
• Bachelor's degree is required, Finance highly preferred
• Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
• Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
• Analytical and statistical examination skills
• Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
Added Bonus If You Have

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)
