At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Financial Analyst supporting the Defense Division, you will be trusted to work with your peers and leaders to provide financial support within a portfolio of programs. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Performing routine analysis in support of various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, and forecasting.

• Collecting and reviewing financial data from various sources, reconciling, and correcting where necessary.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating financial databases and spreadsheets, and generating various financial reports as required.

• Monitoring timely invoicing and collections.

• Performing basic analysis of assigned contracts' projected staff hours, contract totals, revenues, and profit totals.

• Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.

• Supporting assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested.

• Participating in audits and analysis of contracts for cash reconciliation of customer contracted accounts.

• Proactively engaging in risk identification and recovery responsibilities.

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as other government regulations.

• Maintaining current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED:

• Bachelor's in Finance or Business Administration and 2+ years of experience
• Excel/Microsoft Suite proficiency
• Knowledge of financial systems/tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills
