How you'll drive impact!

As a Financial Analyst on the Global IT Finance Team, you will have direct exposure to several key members of Thermo Fisher Scientific's IT & Corporate Finance leadership teams. This position is primarily responsible for working with the IT Integration Team on financial analysis, planning, month-end close, reporting, annual operating plan and consolidation activities. The successful candidate is a technically sound, relationship builder who relentlessly pursues continuous improvement and consistently operates with a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as key finance support for the IT CRG Integration;
• Implement the Monthly and Quarterly Forecasting cycles and related results. Specific month-end responsibilities include accrual management, variance analyses, integration tracking and report preparation;
• Coordinate the Annual Operating Plan process for CRG Integration through the establishment of timelines, creation of operating budgets, communication of risks and development of key deliverables;
• Collaborate closely with Accounting and Accounts Payable teams to ensure integration expenses are represented appropriately;
• Provide financial modeling and analytical support for business cases, key special projects and ad hoc requests as needed;
• Collaborate with key partners and peers to develop standard methodology and implement continuous improvement practices across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of making an impact in a Finance or Accounting role.
