The Opportunity

The role will support the Advantage Finance and Accounting Release Management & Delivery team. The position will be primarily responsible for testing of future Alfa releases, defects, deferred items, and future projects for Commercial items.

The Work Itself

  • Gather accounting requirements and write accounting test cases
  • Validation of accounting for defects, workarounds, and new requirements (reviewing test results to ensure system is behaving as expected
  • Collaborate as part of a team to resolve and troubleshoot issues
  • Research general ledger transactions in various subsystems including ALFA and SAP
  • Perform analyses using Excel and COGNOS
  • Partner with Business Unit personnel to understand various auto finance transactions
  • Document processes and findings
  • Support and assist the Advantage Finance & Accounting team on various projects as needed


The Skills You Bring

  • BS/BBA degree in Accounting/Finance required
  • CPA preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Access and SQL experience a plus
  • Auto Finance industry experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with knowing the right level necessary to deliver on requirements
  • Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative, team player and able to multi task
  • Ability to clearly communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis, provide and articulate explanations to management
