Financial Analyst 3
Description
Actively participates in the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for the Private Client Group. Under limited direction, prepares monthly financial reports and reviews with business leaders and senior management. Conducts ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the business segment. Updates monthly and quarterly financial templates to communicate business segment performance to the segment leadership and corporate financial teams, and develops schedules used for regulatory reporting. This is the most senior skill level without direct supervisory responsibility.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance/Economics or related field with an outstanding academic record.
- 2-5 years financial analysis experience, either from finance, accounting, or investor relations, ideally in banking or a related industry.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with bank financial statements.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of grammar, editing, and proofing skills.
- Strong organizational and workflow management skills that demonstrate the ability to multitask and self-prioritize to ensure work is completed on time and accurately.
- Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- High motivation, strong work ethic, sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
- Strong attention to detail.
