Position Overview

We are searching for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Manager, preferably with experience in software or SaaS-based company, to join the Worldwide Sales Finance team. In this role, you will lead & mentor the Global Named Account (NA) Financial Analysis (FA) team, partnering with NA leadership, to provide strategic financial support to help NA Sales meet their strategic financial objectives. This includes leading weekly forecast submissions, quarterly long-range planning updates, reporting on emerging business trends, and being a strategic partner for the annual planning cycle of the NA business.

This position requires focus on financial metrics consistent with Autodesk's account-based sales business (i.e., Billings, Annual Contract Value, Revenue, Annual Ordering Value, etc.). The role is a unique and interesting opportunity for an exceptional leader to interface with the NA leadership team and influence strategic decisions with insightful data-driven analysis. The role reports into the Senior Finance Manager, WW Sales Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, develop highly accountable NA FA team (3 direct reports) that consistently delivers proactive reliable, insightful analysis to support and improve business performance
  • Develop collaborative partnerships & build trust with key stakeholders including NA Sales VP, Sales Finance Senior Directors, and Finance Business Partners
  • Maintain and improve smart, scalable, and flexible financial models for forecasting, planning, and ad hoc analyses, including managing the testing of model updates, ensuring they are accurate and meet business requirements
  • Lead/project manage the annual planning and budgeting processes for the Named Accounts business, providing strategic and tactical support to Named Accounts leadership
  • Advise stakeholders on weekly & end-of-qtr FCST trends and provide insights into FCST performance, risks/upsides; ownership of various elements of the Enterprise revenue FCST
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests (i.e., SPIFF programs, cash-flow reviews, revenue recognition)
  • Drive Quarterly Long-Range Plan updates (out-years 2-5) for consumption-based enterprise business models
  • Deliver quarter-end executive reporting and presentations, support quarterly operations review, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Communicate effectively to key stakeholders around process updates, key deliverables, and timelines
  • Work cross-functionally to drive efficient processes and leverage best practices
  • Support global finance digital finance transformation goals and be an advocate for leading team into next era of sustainable & automated finance reporting
  • Liaise with Sales Finance HQ, corporate FP&A, Treasury, Investor Relations, and other cross functional teams as required



Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient in PowerPoint
  • Aptitude for and experience with financial software (e.g., Business Objects, Anaplan, Qlikview, SFDC)
  • Proven track record of managing large datasets with the ability to tackle complex issues using financial models and quantitative analysis
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated, capable of working to firm deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Enjoy supporting a global business



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance or MBA
  • People management experience; the ability to work with multiple personality types
  • Prior experience in a software/SaaS company
  • Financial planning & analysis experience
  • Experience & exposure with data visualization tools and know how to leverage (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
  • Ambassador of the growth mindset; strives for continuous improvement
