This is an exciting opportunity for Financial Analysis Leads #SC032 in Ladson, SC

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
  • Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports for department management.
  • Involved in leading the annual budget process, expense and staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
  • Prepare and consolidate comprehensive financial data statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
  • Evaluate US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies, and assess the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business.
  • Analyze complex financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions, prepare and present financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations as part of financial reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.
  • Influence the organization by demonstrating financial knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment.
  • Evaluate business environment using measure to mitigate financial risk and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making, and partner with stakeholders to analyze trends and validate assumptions to provide a forecast the aligns to the organization's goals and strategies.
  • Ensure integrity of financial data by investigating variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
  • Evaluate financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders.
  • Develop, consolidate, and prepare annual operating budgets and periodic financial reports.
  • Design, develop, and lead strategic financial analysis projects while coaching and mentoring financial analysts.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Expense and staffing forecasts
  • Variance and cost analysis
  • US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Financial reporting; Financial forecasting
  • Determine corrective actions of financial data issues
  • Prepare annual operating budgets; Develop strategic financial analysis projects.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:
  • Positions require a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or related position.

WORK HOURS: 40 hours/week - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience plus bonus. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
