Role Summary

Responsible for analysis and interpretation of financial information. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, identifies trends, variances, and key issues and provides recommendations for adjustment. Responsible for conducting moderate to complex financial analysis projects and/or reporting. Prepares financial reports and recommends improvements in financial reporting systems. May conduct audits to ensure financial controls are maintained. May design, enhance and maintain system applications for processing and reporting financial information. General knowledge of real estate and fixed assets, and/or medical practice, procedures and systems for specific functional area. Works with matrix partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, reconciles and manages actual vs. budget variances for key Real Estate projects
  • Prepares, reviews and presents bi-weekly Real Estate project reports on key Real Estate projects over the project life span
  • May support and prepare Work in Process reconciliations relating to key Real Estate projects
  • Support the equipment deployment tracking and asset tagging for key project sites
  • Support and drives completion of physical inventories at Medical Practice facilities as required to meet inventory and/or project objectives.
  • Supports and/or builds annual budget for Arizona CMG depreciation and real estate related expenses in support of CMG key business partners
  • Tracks utilization of miscellaneous real estate costs as compared to aligned funding.
  • Reviews monthly financial information and records accruals for In process Real Estate projects to appropriately report results
  • Supports monthly and annual financial results to meet team objectives
  • Participates and supports team projects as assigned.
  • Leadership ability to analyze results while working with multiple partners across Group Medical Practice.
  • Communication and influencing of the process to ensure goals and targets are met.
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure adequate controls are in place for the management of the Real Estate Portfolio across the Group Practice.
  • Reporting of results to various matrix partners


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting, financial analysis or related experience
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP as it relates to real estate and fixed asset accounting principles
  • Proven analytical skills to quickly work through data and summarize findings
  • Experience working successfully in a matrix environment
  • Solid communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong technical skills, using Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Physical capability to perform physical inventories at Medical Practice locations across the Phoenix Metro area.
