Adia, the leading on-demand staffing platform, is looking for a Financial Accountant with experience managing and preparing financial reconciliations and statements, managing accounts receivable and credit collections, as well as other full-cycle accounting tasks. You will be responsible for recording accurate financial statements, consolidating and preparing financial KPIs, assisting with the monthly close process, and owning client billing and associate payroll related inquiries.
Your objective is providing financials, defining processes, and ensuring accurate billing and collections processes for Adia clients. HR Tech investment value is at all-time highs this year as the HR Tech market matures, and digital staffing solutions like Adia are more relevant than ever as we expand beyond hospitality into light industrial sectors like warehousing and logistics. The Financial Accountant will be an important part of our exciting journey ahead!
You will:

• Perform and review account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactions and company books and records
• Maintain inter-company transfer records for applicable cross-entity transactions
• Record monthly revenue, expenses, payroll transactions, sales accruals, bonus accruals, and bad debt expense accruals
• Reconcile company credit card and bank transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing packages for company financials to be recorded on MFRP
• Assist with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Own Client Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Collections efforts
• Field pay-related inquiries for associate payroll errors
• Manage and provide ad-hoc financial information requests from Group Accounting, Digital Finance, and Digital Management
• Maintain appropriate application of GAAP, internal accounting procedures, and best practices in support of structured corporate financial control environment
• Connect operational KPIs to financials

What you bring to the table:

• 2-3+ years of relevant finance experience
• Experience at a technology or other high-growth company preferred
• BS Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience as a Financial Analyst or similar
• Experience working on financial audits at a large accounting firm a plus
• Strong analytical skills -- you enjoy dissecting and approaching problems from different perspectives to suggest and implement solutions
• Deep understanding of GAAP and overall accounting principles, FP&A, budgeting & forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting
• Highly skilled in building financial models and forecasts
• Experience with KPI reporting -- identifying metrics and developing dashboards
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and can self-manage against deadlines

• You are always several steps ahead -- you anticipate what's needed or expected next
