About The Role

 

In this role, you will partner with several of AKASA's operating departments to support the teams' finance-related activities. You will focus on building financial and operational models, KPI development and analysis, and detailed financial analysis, including recommending new projects, processes, products, and proposals specific to operating cost, gross profit optimization, and revenue growth. This position will contribute to other company initiatives on an ad hoc basis.

What You'll Do

  • Develop financial and operational models to enable quick turn business support decisions
  • Prepare strategic analysis of AKASA's business model and results to facilitate fact-based decision-making
  • Develop the team's reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc analyses of key performance metrics and expenses/P&L impact.
  • Liaise with functional leaders to support budget and forecast cycles, including tracking and communicating progress towards goals and recommending course corrections as necessary
  • Manage and report status on projects and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Create expert-level analysis of any and all aspects of AKASA's functional teams
  • Develop, design, upgrade and maintain processes and systems for forecasting and reporting
  • Identify present and future analytical needs and proactively address them

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
  • Prior experience working in SaaS and Healthcare companies is a plus
  • Advanced expertise in Excel/Google Sheets and competency in working with SQL
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a proven track record of fostering relationships across functions and levels
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail: able to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize and respond effectively
  • BA with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
