Finance Manager
SailPoint is looking for a seasoned FP&A expert with the analytical skills and strategic thinking to help drive our business forward. This is an exciting role that owns core, corporate-level FP&A processes as well as offering scope for leadership of critical projects that will help our Finance team scale its systems, tools, and processes to support our company's growth. This role will report to our Director of FP&A and will initially be an individual contributor role with a heavy, project-based component covering key areas of interest for the FP&A team and its business partners. We expect this role to expand in the future to include more scope and responsibility, including managing one or more direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Design best-in-class, scalable reporting and forecasting processes for high visibility scope areas such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, expense baseline/run rate reporting, etc.
- Own expense scenario modeling to support our annual budget processes, long range plan, and investor relations team.
- Partner with business support finance team members to develop best practices that can be leveraged across all SailPoint business teams.
- Develop expertise in material, company-wide expense categories (such as headcount costs) and collaborate with systems and reporting teammates to improve reporting and modeling capabilities for these categories.
- Run FP&A scope areas on company-wide initiatives such as corporate expansions, re-organizations, implementation of new accounting standards, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA and/or MBA a plus
- 6+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years of FP&A experience
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling expertise
- Proactive, independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct data analysis and resolve complex problems with little guidance or oversight
- Robust knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow structure and reporting; experience with non-GAAP metrics a plus
- Demonstrated success at designing and implementing process improvements
- Ability to influence change across multiple functions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Previous experience with Adaptive Insights or other financial planning software preferred
