Finance Manager
FINANCE MANAGER : Xbox Game Studios

If so, Xbox Game Studios Finance is looking for a highly motivated and qualified financial professional that will help us drive Xbox Game Studios forward.
In this role, you will be the financial lead to two studios and our central team-Rare (the creator of Sea of Thieves), Ninja Theory (the creator of Bleeding Edge) and our central services team. This role will drive all revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, balance sheet, headcount and KPI reporting for these studios and the central team.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize
- Own the monthly close, quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting and long range planning for Rare, Ninja Theory, and the Xbox Game Studios shared services team .
- Understand how different businesses drive financial performance for MSFT/Xbox and their respective drivers for short and long-term growth. Understand and drive for optimal prioritization of spending across the studios.
Partnership
- Partner with studio heads, business management teams, marketing, and field teams as finance contact for all revenue, expense, and compliance questions related to reporting and analysis.
- Serves as finance contact for all revenue, expense, and compliance questions related to reporting and analysis.
- Partner with business team to develop ROI models to support new and existing investments.
Protect
- Use MSFT accounting taxonomy and have a detail-oriented approach for managing transactions to make sure information is accurate in our financial systems. Understand and use the appropriate GAAP and MSFT accounting policies and procedures. Ensure the general ledger is accurate each month.
- Advise the business on the financial policies by combining business knowledge and understanding of MSFT policies.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field
