Finance Manager
Job Purpose
This role will be dedicated to a client and part of a dedicated support team for that client. Specifically, this role will manage and oversee billing, contract administration, process ownership and other client focused contractual items. This includes working with client and internal departments to clearly understand and address business problems and issues, as well as be client facing to ensure contract commitments are completed, monthly reporting is distributed, and interact with client on billing inquiries, updates and projects.
Qualifications• 4 years of education background or related experience in accounting, billing, finance, banking or data analytics• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills• Collaborative and willing to learn• Good aptitude with numbers and strong attention to detail• Strong situational and time management skills• Ability to research, analyze, aggregate and interpret data• Strong analytic skills to solve problems• Self-directed and collaborative approach to solution and issue resolution• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, CABS and Clarity
Responsibilities• Act as the billing subject matter expert and resource for client as well as internal customer• Manage client billing/set up for new products and services and/or client renewals• Accumulate source data from multiple sources, perform data consolidation and data cleaning• Research and resolve client billing inquiries or issues• Review processes to drive continuous improvement, leverage automation tools and best practices• Interact with client and other internal stakeholders regarding all billing related questions/inquiries• Ensure highest standard of financial rigor• Flexibility to manage other tasks as needed
