What does a great Finance Manager, Pricing do?

Our team provides guidance to our business partners on how to structure deals to be competitive and improve the financial results for both the specific lines of business and the Fiserv enterprise as a whole.

The individual will lead pricing proposals supporting a range of channels and solutions across the Merchant Business. With a focus on building value, this role partners with sales in structuring opportunities inclusive of solutions spanning the Fiserv enterprise. Structure, present and negotiate complex commercial arrangement.

As a Finance Manager, Pricing you will:

• Practical lead for all pricing and pre sales financial analysis.
• Review and support the creation & structure of pricing as well as the broader financial architecture and negotiation of business terms to ensure both customer needs are addressed as well as Fiserv's financial, risk and corporate policy requirements.
• Support the development of processes, tools, reporting and analytical insight to improve bid processes, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with managing commercial aspects of large and complex opportunities, including:
• Comprehensive P&L and discounted cash flow models
• Support cost or deal optimization to improve Fiserv's win probability & financial results
• Client negotiations
• Support the identification, quantification and reporting of financial and commercial risks and risk mitigation associated with Management Committee opportunities.
• Driving and enhancing Fiserv's deal pricing capabilities across the Global Pricing function, business units and geographies
• Supporting the development of a Deal Pricing center of excellence supporting organizational process, tools and metrics best practices
• Identifying, developing and reporting upon metrics, analytics and insights into bid performance to improve profitability, speed, efficiency and efficacy of bids and quotes
• Focus areas include: large deal reviews, new customer acquisition, retention/renewals and customer self-service, including pricing guidance and scoring
• Reviewing deal pricing and financials; supporting cost or deal optimization to improve Fiserv's win probability and financial results
• As required for large and complex opportunities, capability to develop the pricing & financial solution; support Sales in the contract negotiation of financial and business terms
• As required, work with a pursuit team for pricing, financial and business matters
• Supporting the identification, quantification and reporting of financial risks associated with Management Committee opportunities
• Supporting compliance with Fiserv's deal governance requirements
• Providing quality assurance for all pricing and financial modelling in bid activity
• Identifying, developing and reporting upon metrics, analytics and insights into bid performance to improve profitability, speed, efficiency and efficacy of bids and quotes
• Focus areas include: deal governance, new customer acquisition, retention/renewals and customer self-service, including pricing guidance and scoring

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelors degree in business degree or MBA
• 5+ years of business experience
• Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
• 5+ years in bid pricing or financial deal structure role
• Financial services industry experience
