As a Finance Associate on our Revenue Operations team, your role involves the day to day functions of billing, collections and accounts receivable. This role requires the ability to resolve questions on the fly and the ability to juggle through different scenarios. Your customers are both internal and external. You will work on projects independently and be ready to keep up with change in processes day to day. We are looking for a quick learner who is capable of grasping and retaining information in a high volume transactional environment that is constantly changing.

What you’ll be doing on the finance team at Drift:

  • Review contracts and order paperwork for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales transactions in Salesforce
  • Generate, review, and track invoices across Drift’s customer base 
  • Partner with the customer team to collect on past due invoices and resolve customer billing inquiries
  • Compose thoughtful, personalized responses for a variety of customer requests – both internally and externally
  • Assist with system implementation and optimizations
  • Work with the team to identify areas of improvement in quote to cash process to accelerate order processing and improve sales efficiency

  • You know when something is over your head and are not afraid to ask for help
  • You are skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
  • You are a team player
  • Super strong attention to detail
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments and work with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting or business management
