Role Summary

Mavenir is seeking a Director, FP&A, to provide the financial planning and strategic support to the Executive team, our Lenders, and the Private Equity owners and provide the leadership and direction for the company's Mergers & Acquisitions activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the direction & framework for the FP&A team in establishing the 5 year/ 10 year financial model and the business strategy for the company
  • Serve as the primary conduit to relaying these plans to our PE Owners and the Investment Community
  • Draft the story board and financial metrics behind Mavenir's growth projections
  • Partner with the senior management team and other company leaders in analyzing and assessing critical business decisions
  • Lead and co-ordinate M&A activities and valuation assessments
  • Establish Financial Metrics for the Regions /Business Units to drive towards "best-in-class" performance
  • Contribute significantly to highly strategic fundraising and corporate development activities
  • Partner with the FP&A team to implement processes, frameworks and systems that allow us to capture timely and accurate financial data to improve our reporting and decision making
  • Ad hoc projects as needed



Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive financial analysis in a complex or high growth environment with multiple internal business units; 5+ years of management experience
  • Strong Business Acumen and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate and present complex business models and forecasts in a concise and simplistic format
  • Adaptable to succeed in a fast -paced and ever-changing environment
  • Advanced excel user with the ability to manage/format large files, produce ad hoc reports, troubleshoot errors and perform data analysis
  • Data Integrity and accuracy are the foundation of your work with a drive for continuous improvement in financial planning & processes
  • Experience in Investment banking, M&A and/or working with/for a PE firm is an asset
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required;
  • Masters/MBA/Professional certifications preferred
