An Insider's view of CrowdStreet

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

We have a flex work schedule, monthly remote stipend, FTO, and a Work Where you Work Best or W3B™ Policy to support the work-life blend our folks are experiencing. It is a core value of mine that we do our best to support folks as we go through these unprecedented times and in the midst of all of it, we are trying to get some work done from home.

Micah

Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

What projects are you most excited about?

I am very excited to lay the groundwork for a robust education center. My background is EdTech, so it's nice to apply my skills to a new industry. I feel a lot of creative freedom to try different things and grow as a content creator and manager. Plus, it's fun to see what resonates most with investors.

Becky

Investor Relations Content & Knowledge Management

What does career growth look like on your team?

We have an extensive ladder for UX Designers to grow in the path they choose, whether in the design itself, research, or ancillary areas, such as information architecture, accessibility, or the complexities of identifying business requirements.

Jon

Sr. Manager of UX

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

My team is fully remote so I need to be intentional about that and have weekly 1:1 meetings to check-in. I also ensure they know that I expect some items may not be able to wait for those sessions and that they can ping or call me as needed.

Rachel

Senior Manager of Marketplace Production

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I've had the humbling privilege to step into a managerial role with the full encouragement and support of my product and technology colleagues, inspiring me to be the best leader I can be every day. The mentorship and advice I've received from CrowdStreet's Exec team have also been remarkable. They are genuinely happy to see you succeed.

Stephen

Manager of Product Management
