Director, Finance – Popeyes US&C

Job Overview: The Director, Finance, Popeyes US&C is primarily responsible for leading a team that executes against brand priorities from a financial perspective, for providing strategic support to the overall business, and for leading financial analysis and planning. This position has full P&L ownership: responsible for our franchise, property and company businesses, managing G&A spend, capital investments, AR management, and a variety of ad-hoc analyses. The Finance Director owns the annual budgeting process, quarterly reporting to the RBI Board of Directors and monthly reporting to the RBI CEO, CFO and Popeyes US&C President. This position has a team of five direct reports, and reports directly to the Popeyes US&C Head of Finance. In addition, this position works closely with other functions within the organization including: Operations, Development, Marketing, Digital, Data, and Corporate FP&A. We are looking for a hard working, good person – that will help grow their team personally and professionally while successfully executing against business priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with cross-functional teams to execute against the Popeyes Strategic Plan, supporting initiatives via project management and finance process creation and support
• Full P&L ownership including franchise and property businesses, advertising fund, company restaurants, general and administrative expenses and all capital investments
• Assess financial performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact financial performance
• Provide monthly and quarterly updates to Brand and RBI management team
• Own annual budgeting process | monthly forecasting process | monthly closing process
• Present business cases for G&A and capital investments to RBI and Popeyes management team
• Monitor timely collections of all accounts receivables across the regions – including franchisee facing communications and resolutions
• Provide and monitor action plans for past due accounts

Qualifications:

• Finance or accounting degree; MBA preferred (but not required)
• 8+ years of professional experience
• Preferred experience in FP&A or related field
• Preferred experience in QSR or related industry (but not required)
• CPA or CFA preferred (but not required)
• Advanced capabilities within Microsoft Office applications
• Highly proficient communicator
• Experience with SAP and Onestream or comparable software preferred (but not required)
