Job Description
As Director of Central BU Finance, a candidate is responsible to lead certain cross-business unit planning, analyses and reporting as well as business partner for corporate strategy & communications. The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting cross-BU business planning, portfolio optimization, business partner for corporate strategy, corporate business development and corporate marketing and communications teams, consolidation of BU financial planning and reporting and other coordination of business planning activities across business units.
As a member of senior Finance leadership, a person in this position will be looked upon to provide leadership in creating an environment where business and financial information is accessible, timely, accurate and relevant to the decision-making process. They'll be expected to be a trusted and collaborative advisor to business partners across a variety of groups. They also need to have strong managerial skills to develop a team who is adept at building insightful reporting based on a good understanding of the business objectives and risks.
  • Lead overall finance role in business unit planning processes and timelines, coordinating with CBO organization, Central BU and Corporate and Sales Finance
  • Provide finance business partnership support to Corporate Strategy and Communications (CSC) and Central BU teams
  • Maintain financial models for consolidation of technology and business unit P&Ls; provide consolidated customer, technology and architecture gross profit per wafer analyses
  • Own centralized BU financial dashboards and reporting systems through partnership with finance systems group
  • Provide review and documentation of periodic BU internal control procedures

  • Strong business acumen & executive presence
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to work across functional boundaries
  • Extensive business partnership experience and acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; MBA desired
  • 15+ years finance experience; 5+ years of leadership experience
