YOUR MISSION
- Manages the billing function and team
- Interface with various department leads to provide timely, accurate and relevant data
- Review business processes and policies to help enhance workflows
- Manage, analyze and report departmental OKRs
- Document and create knowledge repository in Confluence space
- Manage the operational aspect of on-boarding new employees and transitions of existing employees
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, with a focus on scalability and driving significant growth
- Oversees AR processes to ensure timeliness of collections
- Works with the management team to understand the billing function, collections function, the billing team, the billing culture, and the area of strengths/weaknesses, to develop short-term and long-term plans to support the company’s strategic goals.
- Assess current billing operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes
- Assists revenue cycle staff with any day to day issues
- Assists in the monthly closing process
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit
- Create and distribute periodic billing metrics and reports; prepare
- special reports, as requested
- Provide sales and billing reports as needed
- Assist in preparation of sales and VAT tax returns
YOUR PROFILEThe top candidate will have the following skills:
- 10+ Years of experience in billing, subscription billing, AR, and collections in a high-growth SaaS organization
- 5+ Years experience with Salesforce and billing systems from quote to cash collection
- Deep understanding of subscription billing and financial concepts
- Proven track record for improving processes and problem-solving
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach and motivate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Google Apps (Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Able to work in stressful situations with firm deadlines
- Bonus Points: experience using Netsuite, Stripe and Billing Platform
