This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment and is located in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
Summary:
Our Signal and Power Solutions segment is currently seeking a Cost Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the plants Financial Controller, the Cost Analyst will assist in all cost accountant related activities such as inventory, material cost and margin and purchase and price variance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review BOMs for accuracy and reasonableness
- Review all engineering changes for impact to BOM, material cost and margin
- Analyze all variance accounts (PPV/POV)
- Coordinate with logistics on all matters
- Assist with all cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory adjustments, and Excess and Obsolete inventory
- Coordinate with manufacturing group with OEE and output analysis
- Prepare product mix analysis
- PVS analysis
- Assist with the forecasting process for all material and inventory related costs
- Process all PR/PO requests for the plant
- Serve as back up for Plant Controller when out of office
Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting of Finance.
- 2+ years' in cost accounting and/or managerial accounting
- Experience working in Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter and proactive
