COMMISSIONS SYSTEMS REPORTING ANALYST SR
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Commissions Systems Reporting Analyst Sr will partner with business and HR Comp teams to gather reporting and analytics requirements, determine best method of delivery, build, test and deliver the required output. This position will use Callidus Commissions Thunderbridge analytics or other analytics tools external to the system to provide insight into the performance of plans and help shape future incentive comp plan design. This role requires understanding of Callidus Commissions architecture, the ability to translate business problems into solutions driven by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and clear, concise and effective communication. This role will also interface with our BI team as needed to drive requirements and troubleshoot data issues.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Work with business partners and HR Comp team to define and document explicit reporting and analytics requirements
- Analyze reporting needs, determine best delivery approach and develop solutions with limited direction.
- Analyze and report on variances that may uncover configuration issues in Callidus.
- Use Callidus, Excel, Access or other means to perform ad hoc analyses and reporting for a wide range of purposes, including reconciliation and metrics, among others
- Develop and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with key business partners to meet expected customer service levels.
- Continuously pursue system optimization by identifying and recommending possible areas of improvement.
- Partner with BI on enhancement requirements, data issues and bug fixes
- Troubleshoot data issues by querying multiple databases, across multiple platforms (MSSQL/Oracle/Snowflake/etc)
- Use good judgement to resolve moderate to highly complex questions and escalate unresolved issues as needed
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Business Intelligence or other technical field
- Minimum 8 years of analysis and reporting.
- Minimum 8 years architecting and configuring incentive compensation system
- Minimum 5 years of experience as system administrator for Callidus Commissions
- Minimum 8 years working with large databases using Excel, Access and/or PL/SQL.
- Minimum 5 years working in a client facing business support role.
Skills and Knowledge
- General knowledge of incentive compensation principles and theory.
- Prior experience in Financial Services industry a plus.
- Possesses attention to detail and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and procedures.
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects at the same time, working under tight deadlines. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Able to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Able to querying multiple databases, across multiple platforms (MSSQL/Oracle/Snowflake/etc)
