Summary:
The Commissions, Senior Associate has a background in sales plan design, sales commission analysis, and commissions plan management. This role is responsible for supporting the Sales Organization, Sales Commission Team, Total Rewards Team, and Senior Leadership in developing, implementing, and analyzing compensation programs for sales personnel for a global organization. The ideal candidate also has experience with Sales commission and HRIS technology solutions.
Develops, implements, and analyzes compensation programs for sales personnel, including sales plan analysis and design, calculation of plan payments and trend analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Acts as day-to-day support and liaison between Sales Commissions Team and Sales Operations, Finance, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and Leaders team.
• Support sales compensation program design in conjunction with Sales Operations and Finance Teams (e.g., role definition, base salary, incentive compensation/commissions, forecasting, SPIFFs, pay policies, sales contracts, etc.).
• Leads data analytics related to ongoing analysis of sales incentive programs, effectiveness, costing, and projections.
• Assists with regular commission payment calculations.
• Monitor and administer sales incentive compensation programs.
• May support payroll and compensation teams with analysis and reporting to leadership.
• Provides competitive market and internal equity analysis related to base salaries and sales incentive compensation.
• Prepares and facilitates communications related to sales total rewards strategy, administration guidelines, deadlines, etc. in conjunction with Communications Team.
• Prepares scorecards and reports for total rewards, sales leadership, and executive teams.
• Supports activities related to sales plan governance, exceptions, profitability, and progress towards strategic objectives.
• Identify, research, and provide recommendations for sales compensation-related inquiries in a timely manner.
• Prepares and manages data related to participation in compensation benchmarking/surveys.
• Provides support in selecting, developing, and/or implementing process/technology enhancements related to global sales incentives.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of sales incentive compensation/total rewards.
• Experience assessing competitive sales compensation benchmarks, and sales commission administration.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, problem solving skills, and strong track record of supporting sales compensation/sales commission data analytics required.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines prioritize workload and make necessary adjustments to meet business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive and proactive attitude.
Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative and/or analytical field.
• Experience with sales plan/commission administration technology platforms.
