CCB - Auto Finance - Senior Pricing & Strategy Manager - VP
Job Description This position is responsible for pricing analytics and pricing strategies for Chase Auto. In this role, the candidate will be providing in-depth pricing analysis and strategic recommendations in support of the business' goals around volume and profitability. The candidate should have clear understanding and knowledge of Auto Loan Business. The candidate should have the ability to research and resolve issues independently as well as working with IT, Finance and Risk.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for pricing optimization to develop pricing winning strategies to grow Chase Auto Retail market share and profitability
- Help develop short-term and long-term pricing strategies based on the latest competitive landscape and company goals.
- Provide data support for key pricing initiatives
- Develop analytical tools to explain pricing decision impacts
- Provide ad-hoc datasets, reporting and presentations
- Develop machine learning tools to identify opportunities for price optimization
- Take initiative and demonstrate innovation in the identification and development of new metrics, report design, creation, implementation, reporting processes, and areas of analytic focus
- Ability to communicate Auto business goals/ expectations to modeling partners
Requirements
- Master's Degree (Ph.D preferred) in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g., Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Technology and Economics) or relevant experience
- Experience in the Auto Finance industry a plus
- Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to decipher large amounts of data and its impact on price, operational and financial disciplines
- Detail oriented with well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks/projects and prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Ability to efficiently compress large amounts of data into short and concise presentations with sound business conclusions
- Demonstrated Partnership & Relationship skills and strong leadership to defend pricing position
- Proficient knowledge of SAS, SQL, Machine Learning techniques, Excel, etc.
