The Role:

DailyPay is seeking a Capital Markets Quantitative Associate who will work closely with the Capital Markets Team to automate risk management processes, improve team reporting capabilities, develop streamlined methods for performing credit underwriting of new and existing partners, and evolve and maintain our proprietary risk and pricing models. This is a role that requires an advanced knowledge of Python & SQL, a good understanding of VBA, financial analysis and credit underwriting, and a keen interest in becoming a subject matter expert in this domain.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Support the completion of initial and periodic credit reviews by automating credit review process using Python
  • Innovate and automate current risk management using Python
  • Research and lead the inclusion of new technologies (such as Machine Learning or XG Boost) in the credit underwriting processes and change firm-wide policies and procedures to be more reflective of current market conditions
  • Maintain, improve and, develop risk reporting tools
  • Streamline internal processes and change firm-wide policies and procedures to be more reflective of current market conditions
  • Maintain databases and analyze all market intelligence
  • Prepare various Capital Markets reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 3-5+ years experience in roles performing quantitative analysis or python coding
  • Applied proficiency in programming languages including Python & SQL
  • Experience with data visualization in Tableau
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, physics, or mathematics or completion of an immersive coding bootcamp
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have the highest level of personal integrity, value the contribution of others and have a significant commitment to achieving outstanding results
  • Excitement for and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a growing team
  • Experience in Fintech a plus
  • Knowledge of VBA a plus
