Our client is seeking a Business Manager with previous bookkeeping experience, that can handle a wide variety of tasks. The ideal candidate for this role will take a hands-on, strategic approach to their duties.

Our client is seeking a self-starting individual to assist their small team with various accounting activities and Office duties. Someone with previous accounting experience is preferred. Here's what they look for:

• Responsible for general accounting duties including AP/AR, budgeting, managing cash flow
• Handle all aspects of the month-end close process
• Present up to date financials to the Board of Directors
• Assist with setting teacher pay scales
• Handle all components of donor gifts and grants
• Responsible for all facets of the annual audit
• Prepare ad hoc reports for owners as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with audit, compliance, and budget development
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Paycor, and FACTS is a plus, but not required
• Capable of multi-tasking and completing tasks accurately and efficiently
• Effective and professional oral and written communication
• Bilingual skills a plus
