As Business Support Manager for our Global FICC Options business, you will support the COO and liaise with various teams across the firm to maintain, refine, and onboard new business. This position requires an ability to rapidly acquire context for complex businesses, a flawless attention to detail, and a high level of discretion. As familiarity increases, you will also manage critical projects that have a direct impact on important business initiatives. You will routinely interface with a variety of senior leaders across the firm. Responsibilities:
- Preparation for, moderation of, and communication of management meeting results (agendas, discussion points, priorities, selected status)
- Strategic planning deliverables (budgets, gantt charts, Kanban boards)
- Lead business and technology project retrospectives
- As familiarity grows, coordinate delivery of selected projects, onboard new business, ensure alignment of resources to priorities
- Work closely to support senior management on strategic initiatives
Requirements and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role in financial markets or capital markets consulting environment
- Experience with options, derivatives and technologies used to support their trading
- Technology and business project management experience
- Outstanding initiative, sense of urgency, and entrepreneurship
- Must be diligent, mature, discreet and have experienced handling sensitive, highly confidential information
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective collaboration skills and a high degree of resourcefulness
- Skilled at context-switching and coordinating a variety of delegated or assigned tasks with varying degrees of complexity
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint,; experience using tools such as MS Project, Atlassian Jira, and Wrike a plus
- Efficient and capable of working independently to complete daily work Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Finance or related area of study
