Hawke Media is looking for an organized individual with a great attitude to join our Accounting team as a Billing Specialist. This person should be able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders within our full-service digital marketing agency.

The main responsibilities of this job include overseeing billing, processing adjustments, sending invoices to our clients and posting payments.

Responsibilities:

• Processing of invoices

· Creating bills based on statements of work

· Setting recurring or automated billing

· Processing service disengagements

· Application of payments and credits.

• Dispute resolution, billing adjustments and interaction with the sales team and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc reports.
• Organize records of invoices, contracts, bills and deposits.
• Retrieve payments over multiple platforms and reconcile with invoicing.

Skills and Experience:

• 2-5 years Billing experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams both inside and outside the accounting team.
• Hands on experience generating detailed reports, validating and interpreting complex amounts of data and aligning billing periods.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Candidate must be self-motivated and dedicated, organized and detailed.
• Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment at a company growing in revenue
• Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting software.
• Proficiency with Excel, MS Office and data management skills.
