Position Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Accounting, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for leading the Accounting team, overseeing all day-to-day accounting activities.
This role will be based remotely, US-based candidates preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial consolidation and reporting
- Prepare or review monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages, perform flux analysis, provide thoughtful and insightful narratives for endpoint management team and Corporate SEC reporting team
- Maintain accounting policies, SOX and internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee all the internal and external audit activities
- Maintain Backlog Schedules
- Work closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and other departments to identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement across the organization
- Build strong relationships across functions and maintain an open communication, to build a deep knowledge of the business
- Develop, hire, and retain the best accounting talent
- Perform other ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of public accounting experience or 5+ years of industry experience
- 3 years of experience managing a team
- Working experience with a publicly traded company, audits, and SEC reporting
- Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify and Salesforce preferred, but not required

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
- Result oriented with strong work ethic and integrity
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay Range:
Minimum $110,000.00 - Maximum $160,000.00
