Responsibilities:

  • Lead contact point overseeing a group of AP LTL Reps and Clerk
  • Ensure carrier aging's are being worked and in good standing
  • Assist workload distribution across team
  • Lead escalated carrier communication
  • Escalation point of contact for partner carriers
  • Escalate billing issues
  • Responsible for team metrics
  • Day-to-Day Operations Oversight
  • Support and assist AP Reps
  • Resolve any escalations internally or externally
  • Ensure department metrics align with department standards
  • Emails and aging's are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Training of new employees
  • Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting
  • Oversee weekly short pay report to send to carriers
  • Use tableau reporting against carrier aging
  • Ensure carrier numbers reporting is updated
  • Use existing Kapow robots (unbilled and case creation)
  • Assist in creation of new workbooks and robots
  • Run Echo IQ reporting


Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong ability for personal interaction
  • Demonstrate leadership anddecision makingability
  • Proven take charge performer who is effective at multi-tasking
  • Dependable and accountable
  • Strong analytical, organizational andproblem solvingskills
  • Exudes a positive attitude and evangelizes department initiatives
  • Flexible to evolve as department and company initiatives change
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Products,Excel in particular(Intermediate Skill)
  • Experience using Great Plains accounting software is a plus


Work environment/physical demands summary:
This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.
