Purpose of the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable for the company. This individual will oversee payment processes for both vendor and consultants including payments, voids, re-issues, cash manager and unclaimed property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper approval and accuracy in processing all Accounts
  • Process weekly payments for vendors and consultants
  • Work with accounting team on cash manager reconciliation 
  • Work with Customer Solutions team ticket system to process re-issues for consultant check, or related show re-issues
  • Manage voids, re-issues and unclaimed property checks as needed
  • Document and maintain procedures of current and future processes 
  • Ability to drive innovation and process improvement

Education and Experience

  • This role requires a HS Diploma, with 3 years of business environment experience or a degree with 0-1 year experience in an AP or Finance department.
  • Experience with high volume transactions 
  • Experience with Payment processing, Online Bank imports and Oracle ERP a plus.
