More about our Corporate Strategic Planning & Analysis Team

We are a dynamic team of former investment bankers, data analysts, and technology finance professionals that enjoy solving the challenges that come with rapid scaling. Our mission is to serve as the air traffic controller of the FP&A team, bringing together people, data and insights so we can guide decisions and promote the outcomes that maximize shareholder value.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an Anaplan professional / model builder to join the Corporate Strategic Finance team and help us scale by leading our Anaplan innovation! You will report to and partner with a Strategic Finance Manager and be the first dedicated hire in building our Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) function. We are looking for someone who is excited to improve and help guide our Connected-Ana-Planning vision and roadmap.

In addition to providing model support to ensure successful execution of all planning and operational processes, you will also play a large part in the design and implementation of new Anaplan models and functionalities. That being said, we need someone who has both solid experience building Anaplan models and driving long-term system development.

You will

  • Help establish our Anaplan roadmap and vision, and then manage requests and prioritize enhancement backlog through that framework – ensuring scalability of new builds and use cases.
  • Partner with consultants on major implementations and provide end-to-end support - converting requirements to technical design, flow mapping, model building, user acceptance testing, and process documentation.
  • Enhance existing Anaplan models with new functionalities and methodologies, to support Strategic Finance team's goals and plans as part of the connected solution evolution.
  • Provide essential model support/management - resolving system and application issues, managing user securities and other admin tasks, monitor/validate data flows, and maintaining support documentation.
  • Be the spoke person for Anaplan - promote Anaplan's best practices, stay informed of new features and releases and assess feasibility before incorporating.
  • Work with IT, Biz Sys, Finance, HR and Sales Ops for execution support of data integration projects – both upstream and downstream.
  • This job is remote-friendly as long as you're comfortable with the time zone difference - our headquarter and the finance team are based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You have

  • You have 2+ years of Anaplan model building experience; Level 2 Model Builder certificate is required and Level 3 is valued.
  • You have relevant experience implementing Anaplan models/solutions as a consultant or a dedicated in-house support.
  • Master Anaplanner certification is not required, but you have the desire to achieve it and become a solution architect.
  • You have basic understandings of accounting and finance principles; experience working in or with FP&A are valued.
  • You excel at solving problems end-to-end - identifying the people and information you need, structuring the solution and connecting the dots to tell a compelling story.
  • Team environments are your jam; you leave your attitude and ego at the door.
