Analyst I - Finance

This position will be responsible for auditing, financial modeling, and analysis of Windstream's Access/Interconnection expense. The position will work closely with other teams across the Access and Accounting/Finance organizations.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring price/rate change notifications from Windstream's vendors, forecasting the impacts on Windstream's existing circuit base, and reporting the results to management. Comparing actual results against forecast, and explaining variances.
• Auditing of access/interconnection costs invoiced by Windstream's vendors. Perform billing audits to identify incorrect billing.
• Monthly and quarterly reporting and accruals.
• Work on special projects and requests as required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a positive and constructive attitude.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Experience in Audit, Accounting, or Finance.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret and explain complex processes.
• Experience in the Telecom industry preferred, not required.
• SQL experience preferred, not required.

Minimum Requirements: College degree and 0-3 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for supervisory roles.
