What You Will Do in Your Role

Manage accounting processes and provide financial analysis through:

  • Reporting of financial results and understanding of key drivers
  • Analysis of the general ledger and financial statements
  • Accounting period closing activities
  • Account reconciliations
  • Variance analysis
  • Application of appropriate internal controls in a changing business transformational environment
  • Using data to extract and convey meaning, while understanding business goals and constraints to solve a variety of problems
  • Research and sharing knowledge on accounting, finance and/or industry topics



Collaboration & Transformation

  • Develop an understanding of the market structures we participate in, build relationships with internal and external counterparties, and support various business strategies
  • Work with diverse groups such as accounting, finance, treasury, operations, and others to: record transactions, create analysis, improve results, and champion new solutions
  • Identify, recommend, and collaborate to implement process improvements to financial and accounting processes, using sustainable technology solutions



The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business field
  • At least one year of previous Accounting or Financial Analysis experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; with functional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.



What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with data visualization software/tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Process Improvement / Process Transformation / Process Implementation experience
  • Previous Team or Project Lead experience
