Job Summary and Opportunity

The Alternative Investments Specialist will be responsible for the processing of trades, transfers, dividends, corporate actions, etc. as it relates to alternative investments. Contribute to a dynamic, fast paced, growing, and evolving organization, where your success is appreciated and rewarded! We are continuing to transform Axos Clearing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze multiple types of legal documents pertinent to Alternative Investments
  • Processing Subscription, Transfer, Redemption, Dividend, Corporate Actions, Pricing, and other Maintenance related items with respects to Alternative Investments
  • Perform consistent quality reconciliation to ensure accurate books and records
  • Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with Issuer and Transfer Agents of Alternative Investments
  • Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with business partners across the organization and across the financial industry
  • Capitalize on honest open communications regarding opportunities for improvement for functions of the department
  • Maintain a high regulatory compliance environment
  • Provide Correspondents with timely, accurate, and professional responses to inquiries and requests
  • Providing Customer Services via Phone and E-mail to Internal and External Clients
  • Any and all other tasks assigned


Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Must pass FINRA Series 99 or 7 licensing exam
  • Achieve results with accuracy and precision
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy
  • Ability to apply learned knowledge
  • Adept at learning new functions
  • Team oriented philosophy
  • Available for overtime as needed

Preferred:
  • College degree or some college preferred or equivalent experience
