About the team
As FIS grows, our need for a skilled and seasoned collection team grows. Being a player in the payments processing industry requires a savvy team of experts who can easily navigate delinquent accounts in accordance with departmental, investor, and legal guidelines, ensuring attainment of company goals.
What you will be doing:

  • The Finance Shared Services Associate Senior is detail-oriented while checking and verifying outstanding account balances. FIS's fast, continued growth means as our systems become more complex, our need for detail-oriented people to keep our business operating efficiently deepens. Daily activities may include
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts utilizing work queue
  • Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced goal-oriented collections department
  • Enlist the efforts of Relationship Managers when necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues, review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies


What you bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior collections experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written)
  • Intermediate computer navigation and operation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrate effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
