What you’ll do when you get here:

• Manage the overall AR collection and credit risk process
• Work with our sales team to understand their client needs and help resolve any invoice reconciliation issues
• Proactively communicate with customers and carriers for outstanding invoices, AR inquiries, and billing issues
• Set cash collection goals and strive to reduce our AR timeline by analyzing past due invoices, reviewing trends to predict delinquency risk, and providing resolution recommendations
• Assist with the invoicing process as needed

What you need to have:

• 1-3 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience
• 1-3 years in a customer service oriented role
• Detail oriented professional who is comfortable on the phone and is willing to jump in, get in front of the right person, and solve an issue
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Proficient in relevant computer software (Excel, NetSuite or other ERP systems)
• Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

What is preferred:

• Freight experience or supply chain knowledge is a huge plus
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Experience with NetSuite, Excel, and Google Workplace
