About the Role
GoodRx is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. The AP Specialist will be tasked with operating a high-performing Accounts Payable function - streamlining existing processes and implementing new ones. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, team player who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
This is a key role within the Accounting team and provides a great opportunity for professional growth. This individual will report to the Director of Accounting and will work closely with accounting and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process transactions ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness in a multi-entity environment
- Ensure all transactions contain valid information for input, identify and follow company processes for those that don’t.
- Ensure vendor payments are processed in a timely manner
- Respond in a timely manner to internal and vendor inquiries
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying, recommending and helping implement solutions
- Assist with new vendor onboarding process
- Assist with the annual financial audit,and initiate corrective actions when necessary
- Perform internal controls in accordance with SOX
- Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of other departments and stakeholders
- Ensure invoices are approved in a timely manner, and investigate issues identified by business owners
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with an ERP accounting software; experience with NetSuite preferred
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, including VLookUps, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize activities to ensure objectives are met in a rapid paced and changing environment.
- Business-minded with superb communication skills
