Our Finance Team is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Accounts payable specialists manage the expenses of companies, businesses, and organizations. They analyze invoices and expense reports, resolve accounting discrepancies, and charge expenses to accounts.
Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers
  • Submitting invoices for approval
  • Creating Purchase Orders
  • Reviewing & checking coding of Employee Expenses for reimbursement
  • Reviewing & checking coding of Employee Company Credit Card Expenses
  • Producing for approval - supplier payment runs
  • Producing for approval - employee expenses payment runs
  • Liaising with relevant payroll departments to ensure employee expenses are included in their next salary payment.
  • Ad hoc duties may be required
  • Protecting an organization's value by keeping financial and operational information confidential


Requirements

  • B.S. in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in general accounting functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  • Pride in accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with financial accounting systems (eg, NetSuite, Fusion, Salesforce, Concur, Nexonia) a plus
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with international transactions and foreign exchange a plus
  • Great follow up skills, ability to take initiative and drive to completion; think out of the box
  • Ability to develop a strong relationship with internal/external customers at all levels
