In this role, you will ensure timely processing and payments of invoices/expense reimbursements while maintaining accurate records and fostering exceptional vendor relationships.

How you can make a difference

  • Support Accounts Payable process including invoice submission, bill processing, and payment disbursements/reconciliation.
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
  • Manage vendor information and relationships and ensure accurate vendor information is maintained and updated within the accounts payable system.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to actual invoices.
  • Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serve as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience to drive change

  • High School Diploma or Accredited Equivalency required. Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting or related field experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years in accounts payable, accounting, or related experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility and deal effectively with change.
  • Provide strong professional presence, technical expertise, a business/operational focus, and team leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting vendors, customers, and management.
  • Demonstrate ability to be adaptable, operate with integrity and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
