About the opportunity 

Flock Safety is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate excels at administrative and bookkeeping support and streamlines financial record keeping. This role will be in charge of managing communications relating to invoices, as well as assisting with company bookkeeping policies, auditing business ledgers, organizing invoices and launching the collections process for client accounts with past-due balances. The Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist will also process and record any unique billing situations that fall outside of regular operations such as custom payment plans.

This role requires the candidate to be extremely organized and have a keen eye for detail to spot any issues that may arise. It is a key role at Flock, creating a framework for securing on-time payments and optimizing cash flow management.

How You Will Take Flight With Flock

• Maintain the billing system
• Generate invoices and account statements
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records
• Produce monthly financial and management reports
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries
• Assist in general financial management and analysis

• Possesses a keen eye for detail
• Enjoys and thrives while working independently (we are a remote-first culture)
• Communicates articulately and efficiently with other people within the company and customers
• Has a focused mathematical background
• Preference for experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce
