About the role

The Finance and Accounting team is deeply ingrained in all functional areas of the business and partners heavily with leaders across the company. We are building a best-in-class team of financial professionals and tools to support accounting, controllership and finance and drive solutions that improve the overall operation of the Company. The Accounting Manger will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, assisting with implementing systems and policies, supporting financial reporting, and partnering with business stakeholders on ad-hoc projects.

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including, but not limited to, treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions
  • Responsible for performing general ledger tasks and account reconciliations for various business operations
  • Contribute to the month end close process; reduce days to complete, improve precision, transparency and controls
  • Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analyses
  • Participate in the annual financial audit with external auditors, including preparation and review of schedules
  • Develop and coach junior members of the team
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies, processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate with FP&A to understand and explain budget vs. actual variances
  • Provide technical accounting assistance for special projects
  • Participate in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects

The experience you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA license preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience (preferably both public accounting and private industry experience)
  • Experience working as part of a highly functioning accounting team with relevant month-end close experience
  • Excel skills (sumifs, vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • ERP experience (preferably Microsoft Finance & Operations (Dynamics 365))
  • Purchase order system and invoice reconciliation experience
