About You
Nutrafol is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for the accounting of the business. You must be a highly driven, high-energy, focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. You will be expected to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment. You will be working closely with the Accounting team and maintain cross-functional relationships. Responsibilities
- Perform the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close tasks
- All journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations. (e.g. accruals, prepaids, fixed assets)
- Maintain Marketing Spend actuals and forecast by working with cross functional teams
- Maintain Research and Development actuals and forecast by working with science team
- Oversee AP process handled by a staff accountant
- Assist in maintaining and improving current accounting processes and infrastructure.
- Assist in maintaining cash activity and reconciliations.
- Support year-end audit preparation and analysis.
- Other accounting and finance related duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Quickbooks Desktop , Ecommerce, and Manufacturing experience.
- 5-7 years Accounting experience.
- Experience in start-up/high-growth eCommerce or CPG business.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions.
- Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data.
- Self starter requiring minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines.
- Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements.
- Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences
- Fully remote work experience, including a one-time allowance for home office setup
